”Hola! Hope you had a great week wherever you are :)
Early October we were in Ketchum Idaho, a little south of Boise. We spent most of our two weeks here catching up on work and school, but we came here specifically for a very unique festival.
You see this area of Idaho has a lot of sheep herders, and every year they move from their summer grazing spots to the winter fields. In Ketchum, for the last 150 years, the sheep migrate straight through Main Street!
While that is the main attraction, there were lots of other events to see. We watched a sheep get sheared, ate some killer sheep jerky, and saw more wool attire than I thought was possible.
The parade of sheep was on Sunday, and it was unlike any parade Iāve been to!
(Note: this is not a historical reenactment, sheep herders still live in wagons, ride horses and have sheepdogs!)
They started with the traveling wagons,
Added some Peruvian dancers to the mix,
Played some bagpipes,

And eventually the sheep crept over the hill. It was like an ocean of wool š

Other than the sheep festival, we biked around Ketchum, kayaked, and went to a super cool Starbucks :D

Ketchum also had a public botanical garden with a prayer wheel that was blessed by the Dalai Llama himself (one of two in North America). Spin it clockwise, and blessings will be emitted throughout the area :)

So with that being said, blessings for you!
Stay cucumber
