Our Week in Telluride

Hey peeps! Hope y’all are well and not dying from heat stroke (My condolences). This week, and maybe next, we’re staying about twenty minutes away from Telluride, a cute ski town that’s still cute in the summer.
This is our camp site (more BLM land)
There’s a lovely lake nearby that we kayaked one day, on our inflatable kayaks (luckily they didn’t pop).
Now on to the real deal. Telluride is another old mining town, with 350 miles of tunnels under the mountain (that’s a lot). Beyond the Main Street, there are tons of small, quaint houses that litter this valley.

There are tons of cool shops and restaurants (which I’ll review in a different post), and I even found a new mug for me.

Don’t judge me 😉.
Another thing I’d like to mention is that this town has A TON of flower boxes! They have em on the street, on the light posts, on the windowsills, everywhere! Not to mention that these flower boxes were top notch, it’s like they packed as many as possible into the pots.
Gorgeous right?
We also rode the gondola, the only public transportation of its kind, up to Mountain Village, where we had dinner.
If you don’t like heights, I don’t recommend it.
They also had a bunch of telephone booths up there, which were kinda fun.
I can’t even imagine what this place is like, blanketed in snow.
Now y’all tell me, would you ride the gondola? It doesn’t stop for you to get on or off 😬.
See ya next time

That’s is so pretty! I love it.
And yes I would definitely ride the gondola ;)
Your photos of the lakes and mountain sides are breathtaking. You definitely have your mother’s eye.
The flower boxes made the town beautiful. What a lovely way to grace your place.
