Anybody remember how many National Parks there are in Utah?
The Answer: 5
So far we’ve been to two;

Zion,

and Bryce Canyon.
After our pathetic end to Breckenridge, we went back to our rig, which was parked in Moab, Utah. Moab is near two national parks- Canyonlands and Arches.
Arches is the more famous of the two, but Canyonlands is a whole lot bigger. As we still weren’t feeling 100% we only spent one day at each park.
Arches
This National Park is most famous for, well, its naturally occurring arches. The most famous arch is Delicate Arch (you've seen it)
Unfortunately it was a three mile hike which we just were not ready to do yet (we were sick okay?). But we did get an okay view of it. Again my mom’s camera is way better :/

My pic (pathetic)

Mom’s (yay)
See that person? Yeah, the arch is that big.
We also went and saw Balanced Rock, which someday will topple from its perch (I would love to see that).

Arches also had some nice desert landscapes which I will gladly share with you (you awesome human).
Canyonlands
Canyonlands is huge. Whereas Arches is only 87k acres, Land of Canyons is three hundred thirty-seven thousand! Almost quadruple.
It’s so big and remote that the park is divided into four sections. We did the most accessible one, Island in the Sky. Even though it’s the most “accessible” there’s only one way in, through The Neck.
Because it’s only got one way in, the “island” was used for cattle ranching. Most of the fencing was natural, and the cows had only one escape route. Fence that up and you’ve got a nice area for grazing.
The most famous arch in Canyonlands is Mesa Arch, which we did hike to. The view was awesome.

The other hike we did was to Grand View. Obviously it had a Grand View lol.

And for a sunset finale, we went to Green River Viewpoint (just in time too).

Yes, that’s another canyon within the canyon (it is Canyonlands).
Thanks for reading. You’re awesome.
