Zion

In contrast to Glacier NP, with its aspen woods, Rocky Mountains, and rivers that delighted, Zion is definitely back in the desert. Red rocks, sage, and cacti, it’s a lot different, yet she holds a beauty that is all her own.
If you’ve been to or heard about Zion NP, you probably know that there are two main things that you “like have to do”.
One of which is the Angels Landing Hike, named so because it was thought only angels could reach the peak. The hike is long, and at one point you’re on a thin path with straight drop offs on either side of you.
We didn’t do that hike.
The other thing to do is the Narrows, a hike, half wading in water, which will take you to these bad boys.
Since the water was cold we rented the waterproof gear, with these rad shoes.

It was a great hike, the water cooled you down and the beauty was exhilarating, so we didn’t feel tired until the very end (after five miles, three hours)
We went on one other hike while here, and even though we weren’t wading through water, it was still cool.
(Customer service voice) Thank you for reading Road Duchess today! Come back next time for more fun and hey, tell your friends. I like people.
God loves you (John 3:16)
