‘Ello! How was your December and New Year? I hope it was great. Hard to believe it’s 2022 🤯

I had a particularly good Christmas. I got my five year dream gift: The Millenium Falcon 😁.

It’s 7500 pieces :D (She‘ll be the fastest in the galaxy!)

On New Year’s Eve we left Oklahoma/Texas for Gulf Shores, Alabama.

The drive was four days, three nights. I had my first Po Boy in Louisiana, which was excellent 👌🏼

A little bit after we arrived we went to the beach (first time in a while ☹️).

The sunset was craze amaze

Gulf Shores reminded me of a tamer Myrtle Beach, more refined I guess.

There were lots of bike trails throughout the multiple state parks which were beautifully beachy. I think we did the one called Gulf Shores State Park lol.

Gulf Shores is also host to a 50s style diner, which was pretty authentic (from my limited knowledge of the fifties)

We got milkshakes as a treat :)

And that was our stay in Gulf Shores.

Luckily Pensacola was only an hour away so we went there too.

The farmers market was going on; it had great prices (and cute dogs).

We went to two restaurants and a cafe in Pensacola. At the cafe (Bodacious) we just got drinks. This all natural blueberry soda was awesome 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Even though it was a Big Jerk (heh)

Graffiti Pizza was good. The crust was top notch 🤌🏼🤌🏼

South Market was great. It was so good that we gobbled it down before I could get any pictures (Sorry).

We split the Cajun Tuna Dip, Fish Tacos, and Tuna Poke Nachos (I didn’t even know you could do that).

These we’re the best fish tacos I’ve ever had, seriously. The dip was so tasty, and the nachos were honestly amazing.

Go to South Market if you ever go to Pensacola. For reals.

One final thing, Exotic Pet Shops are a thing in Florida.

This one had the cutest piggies! And puppies and turtles and chinchillas…
