You know, I always thought when I turned 16 that I would be a licensed driver, have lots of friends and go to a real high school.
Oh well.
I can't complain though, I just wish my birthday could have been somewhere cooler.
But then again, if it had been anywhere else I might not have spent it with Sadie!
Yep that's right, my bestie Sadie flew 1,000 miles just to spend the weekend with me, and I'm so glad she did! We had a blast.

Plus we went to the Metro for dinner so I got to dress up for once! :D
As you can see we had an awesome weekend and I had a fabulous birthday!

Dearest Granddaughter, Grandmom can’t believe you are 16 and with a PERMIT!! The rule in our house is to sound a siren or loud horn to make the neighbors aware you are on the street and behind the wheel!!!
Just kidding. Please be safe and congratulations!! Soon you’ll be in college and a grown woman. I’m not ready for that yet but will work on it. What a lovely 16th bday gift to have your bestie come all that way. I’m thrilled you had a great time.
