If you’ve finished an expedition around Mesa Verde, this little restaurant in Cortez is perfect for lunch or dinner.

We went late, around closing time, so they were out of some things. For appetizers we ordered Zucchini Fritters, and some sort of veggie dumpling with mango chutney. This is one of the fritters with all the fixins

For our entrée we shared a yak burger on a pretzel bun,

And a chicken pot pie.

All of the food was really good, fresh and a good meal after our Mesa Verde adventure. I do think the pot pie was decievingly small, and it would be good for one or two people, not four. Out of five, I’d give this a 4.5 for good service and tasty bites.

This looks amazingly good. Wish I were there to share the adventure. ❤️
