America’s Oldest City

For those of you with good memories, you’ll recall that we went to Americas oldest capital, Santa Fe, last December.
This time, the oldest (still functional) city, Saint Augustine.
We only had one day here, so we biked around.
First, Flagler College. A beautiful campus in a quaint city. If only they weren’t libs…
The inside was cool too.

The top thing to do in St. Augustine is the Saint Augustine Distillery. It was fun for the parentals. They weren’t doing tours anymore due to “covid” which was kinda lame.
We went to a couple resturants, the first was the Floridian. I got this grapefruit lemonade and it was so good.

For dinner we went to Forgotten Tonic, which had a ton of drink options btw. We got southwest eggrolls, a charcuterie board, and I got the Leap of Faith (we got more but no pictures).
That was our visit to Saint Augustine! We only had a day, but I had a good time. The town itself is quaint and charming. Just don’t go in the summer ;)
By the way, this was our last stop in Florida! Hope you enjoyed our take on the sunshine state.
With love,
-R.D.
