Everybody asks me what my favorite place is, and I usually say Glacier NP (🤍). However, before we ever started traveling my favorite place in the whole world was my summer camp, MTYC.
Honestly it’s probably still my favorite.
Glacier may be grand and beautiful, but camp is like a little slice of heaven. I mean this almost literally because the fellowship there is phenomenal, and I always learn something from the speakers of the week.
The last time we went was 2019. The next year they cancelled all camps, and 2021 they cancelled the homeschool weeks (🤷🏼♀️), so naturally we were very excited to go. Me especially because I’d be in the teen cabin.
And we had a great time! I met a lot of cool people and learned more about Christ. I went rock climbing/rappelling, hiking, and took pictures.
By the way, the food is amazing here. I don’t know why, but it definitely isn’t “camp food”.

Special shout-out to my bunkmate Keira. You’re awesome.
After three full days of greatness, it was time to move on to our next event;
Fulltime Families Teen Pep Rally!!
I have been waiting for this event for so long! Finally a chance to hang out with fellow traveling teens.
Honestly, FTF did such a great job with this event, I met so many cool people, and had a lot of fun.
My favorite things included, debate team, mock interviews, swing dancing, teens night out, jam session, and prom!

I also did some recording for my podcast, which was cool to do in real life. Those will be out in the coming weeks ;)
Wow, that was an amazing two weeks! Thanks to Keira, Liesel, and Elizabeth for hanging out with me, I miss y’all already!
Next; maybe I get my permit? And a trip to Oregon :D
On to the next adventure,
-R.D.

You looked great on that cliff and in your beautiful dress at prom.
Love it!
