Manatees?

Yup.

Hey peeps. After our first stop in Florida (Pensacola) we heard about a manatee festival in Hernando FL.

Obviously when you hear “manatee” and “festival” you’re kinda obligated to go. So we did :)

The festival was ssooo packed. And hot. Glad we brought our kayaks and snorkels cause people are too much.

Enjoy.

Its official! Manatees are the cutest. Ever.

Another wild Florida adventure we took was to Ziggy’s Bird Sanctuary. They have taken in over 250 birds who have lost their homes, usually due to people who don’t know how much of a pain parrots can be.

If you are wanting a parrot in the future, be specific about what type you want, and do thorough research on it, the bird’s needs, and your state laws. They are a lot of work.

Also, adopt! Don’t buy from a breeder please. Bird shelters are filling up all over the country and they need help!

Anyway, Ziggy’s had a ton of birds of all types, and they all had different personalities.

Enjoy! (part 2)

And that’s all for now.

Luego 👋🏼

Manatees are the cutest ever. Did they come up to you for petting? Ours did even though we weren’t supposed to touch them.
